Millspace Mainstage presents Reginald Rose’s Award winning courtroom drama 12 Angry Jurors. In a room full of clashing personalities, 12 people debate the case of a young, teenage boy accused of murdering his father. As the evidence is discussed, tensions rise and hidden prejudices are uncovered. In this, we witness the essence of the human ego and we see just how important careful deliberation can be.

WHO: We are looking for strong, dramatic performers of any ethnicity, as young as 18 and reaching up into the 70s. None of the character's genders have been decided at this time. We are looking for who will best fit the role. We will be using a co-created hybrid of the scripts for 12 Angry Men and 12 Angry Women, which may or may not dictate specific verbiage. However, people of all genders can and will be considered for any role. Please check out the character descriptions, especially if you are interested in a specific role.

WHEN: Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th from 10am-2pm, sign-up genius link for in person auditions below. Invited callbacks will be held the following Saturday, May 11th from 10:00am-2:00pm.

WHERE: Millspace Center for Art, History and Culture - Newmarket NH

WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare a 30-60 second dramatic monologue.
In person auditionees may be asked to do some light cold reading.

PERFORMANCES: 12 Angry Jurors will run three weekends from August 2nd through to August 18th. Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, and Sunday Matinees at 4pm. A total of 9 performances.
