Call For Art

State of Mine

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Friday, April 25

EXHIBITION: Friday, May 23 - Sunday, August 17

New Hampshire is mountains and rivers, mill towns and winding back roads, shifting seasons and deep histories. But it is also an idea, one of independence, resilience, and tradition. This exhibition invites artists to explore how New Hampshire takes shape, not just in geography but in feeling. Whether through landscape, memory, history, or identity, artists are encouraged to reflect on the visible and invisible forces that define the Granite State.

  • Friday, April 25: Submit up to three pieces of art by completing the art submission form, which includes comprehensive details about the exhibit, and paying the $15 submission fee.

Spectral Evidence

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Friday, August 22

EXHIBITION: Saturday, September 20 - Sunday, December 7

Inspired by the historical idea of spectral evidence—where visions and dreams were accepted as legal proof—this show examines the tension between belief and reality, paranoia and truth. The artworks in this show blur the line between what’s real and what’s imagined. During the course of the exhibition's run, the Millspace will host a variety of community events including theatrical productions of The Rocky Horror Show and The Crucible.

Important “Spectral Evidence” dates:

  • Friday, August 22: Submit up to three works via this submission link (COMING SOON).

  • Monday, August 25: Artists hear back about the submissions.

  • Sunday, September 14: From 9am to 1pm, selected works are dropped off at the Millspace and signed documentation is collected.

  • Saturday, September 20: Opening Reception is at 6:30pm, followed by a tie-in community spooky storytelling event featuring authors from around the state at 7:30pm.
