KATELIN GARLAND
Katelin Garland has been a board member with the Lamprey Arts and Culture Alliance since March of 2023. She has loved theatre since she was a child and obtained a BA from UNH in Musical Theatre. She is thrilled to be working with other artists in a space that prioritizes community involvement and engagement first and foremost. As a board member, it is her goal to make theatre more accessible to the Millspace and Newmarket community.
During her first year as board member, she along with Katie Gall and Robert Collinge have launched the Millspace MainStage. The Millspace MainStage will debut with "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" and continue to produce a musical or play annually. Katelin was successful in applying for grant funding for this project through the NH Council for the Arts.
Other goals Katelin is actively working towards include, improving the technical areas of the stage (lights, stage build, and sound) and general accessibility to the space. She hopes both of these goals will be achieved during her time with the board.
When not helping out with the Millspace endeavors, you can find Katelin on stage and off, where she enjoys performing, directing, and scenic art/design.
