The Boy on the Bureau

Friday, September 17 | 8:00 pm

“The Boy on the Bureau” is both a drama & a documentary – compelling,
more than controversial, uniquely specific, & yet ultimately quite
universal. It is the autobiographical journey of a man referred to by his
parents & siblings as “the white sheep of the family” – the story of his quest
for truth where little was available – a play about one man’s escape from
being the favorite child in a family of nine siblings – a tale of motorcycles,
teen-age pregnancies, porn, pathological lying, envy, attempted murder,
altar boys, christenings broken up by the police… & more – a quest for truth
& for what truth actually is… a play of great heart, immense sadness, & flat
out hilarity.

Sept 17 @ 8pm, Sept 18 @ 8pm, Sept 19 @ 4pm
